i know jill from Afghanistan and i was like her best friend when she was there iam from Afghanistn, i was Army transletor and had been to sevral missions with her and i think she is very brave and beautiful , further more very friendly person too . she is the kind of person that i have never seen in my life she has a very beautiful heart i mean she is very honest person and i will trust her for my life, when i looked at the picture abave it brings me memorise from the past when i was used to work with her in Afghanistan. i really think she is the greatest person in the world…..i love her to death and i love her like a best friend . In my opinion, Sgt. Stevens was shafted by the judges in the so-called “Fitness” competition (formerly known as the Swimsuit competition)at the Miss America pageant. She’s a marathon runner for crying out loud. How much more fit can a person be? I was very glad when she dropped after being voted out and did push-ups to show the judges and the crowd who the most “fit” contestant genuinely was. She is a patriotic American, a healer for the sick and wounded, and represents a true American ideal one Hell of lot more than those body-sculpting beauties who were left in the competition. For my money and my wife’s I might add, she IS Miss America. God bless you Sgt. Stevens.

GI Jill got special treatment. The Army would not dare risk losing her life. She never has all her combat gear on and the Army videos never show the other soldiers who had to secure the area before she went in for her photo shoot. Why is one e-5 so important that she gets invited to parties and events with the senior command, while the real soldiers are left out in the field to do the mission. The Army is trying to use GI Jill as a sex kitten to sell the war in Iraq. Why don’t we give the same amount of attention to the other soldeirs?

She sounds like a remarkable young woman and much more genuine and personable than contestants in the Miss USA pageant.
