27 May 2007

I’ve been invited to speak on the Andrea Shea King Radio Show this evening, so if you find yourself with nothing better to do, tune in at 2130 (9:30 pm) Eastern time. I met Andrea, an accomplished blogger herself, at the Milblog conference and am honored to have been asked on her show. I’m just not sure what to wear. Sgt Hook out.

  5. Heh,

Considering all those I met there, I’d suggest a Tiara… it seemed to be in vogue :)

In view of a recent tendency to identify characters in fiction with real people, it seems proper to state that there are no real people in this volume: both the characters and their names are ficticious. The names or designations of any military units are ficticious. There are no living people nor existing military units presented in this book. -Ernest Hemingway

Fiddler's Green

Halfway down the road to hell,
In a shady meadow green,
Are the souls of all dead troopers camped
Near a good old-time canteen.
And this eternal resting place
Is known as Fiddler's Green.
