I believe Pvt. Sanford's actions deserve the Congressional Medal of Honor. The only reason for him not being considered in my opinion must be that he did not perish. But why is that a reason? It aint---- I am pleased he is still with us --- ourGovernment should honor its heroes in FULL MEASURE. To do less would make them on par with the newsmongers who seek only the sales accumilated from the destruction of our brave men and women. I study military history. I believe Pvt.
