As far as the comparison of the Army to a mistress…here’s my read on that one.

To me, the Army’s like a real “pain in the ass” neighbor but damned if he doesn’t have a well stocked tool shed…always has a cold beer, a warm smile and wave for you when you come home after a tough day. Sometimes you wonder why you don’t move after his dog slips across the property line to take a dump…then you come to realize…what if I need to trim the hedges later this year???

Just wanted to say that I can’t find any great reasons to defend our current government. Im glad you have found some meaning in life through your service but I don’t agree with you.

Please know that I hope you make it home alive and well. Also - that you fight for what you believe and not for politic’s convenience.
