Sgt. Hook,
Great story.
Took my BCT and AIT at Ft. Dix, New Jersey.
Graduated 15 July 1976 Bravo Company "Roadrunners" 6th Battalion 3rd Brigade
My Drill Sgt., SFC Doyle Cawthon was my hero, after boot of course!
He took care of his soldiers.
God bless the Drill Insructors! Past, Present, Future
Take care,
Robert

Thanks Sgt Lori for your response. I worked in a career that involved a lot of juveniles who were often on the wrong side of the law and I know a few that were "offered" the military as an option and turned their lives around. So I'm not saying it's a bad idea. I'm just saying that I know juvenile delinquency has been ratcheted up a few notches. I'm glad to hear the military is vetting them.
