I’m waay late in responding to this tagging, but here it goes…

1: Black and White or Color; how do you prefer your movies?

    Black and white.

2: What is the one single subject that bores you to near-death?

Which Hollywood celebrity is having who’s Hollywood celebrity’s kid while dating who’s Hollywood celebrity’s husband/wife.

3: MP3s, CDs, Tapes or Records: what is your favorite medium for prerecorded music?

CDs, probably because I’ve not yet purchased an iPod.

4: You are handed one first class trip plane ticket to anywhere in the world and ten million dollars cash. All of this is yours provided that you leave and not tell anyone where you are going … Ever. This includes family, friends, everyone. Would you take the money and ticket and run?

    Absolutely not.

5: Seriously, what do you consider the world’s most pressing issue now?

    The Global War on Terror.

6: How would you rectify the world’s most pressing issue?

    With a committment to victory.

7: You are given the chance to go back and change one thing in your life; what would that be?

I would’ve accepted an invite to live in Austrailia two years with a couple of friends when I was a younger man.

8: You are given the chance to go back and change one event in world history, what would that be?

Recognizing that it isn’t a good idea to mess with history, I think I wouldn’t have waited until the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor before joining the fight against the Axis Powers in WWII.

9: A night at the opera, or a night at the Grand Ole’ Opry –Which do you choose?

    Grand Ole Opry.

10: What is the one great unsolved crime of all time you’d like to solve?

Ha! How about finding Al Capone’s vault filled with cash as Geraldo watches on T.V. from home.

11: One famous author can come to dinner with you. Who would that be, and what would you serve for the meal?

Ernest Hemingway. Venison stew with a hearty merlot.

12: You discover that John Lennon was right, that there is no hell below us, and above us there is only sky — what’s the first immoral thing you might do to celebrate this fact?

Play my Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album backwards, just to be sure.

Given my time constraints, I’ll not tag anyone in particular, just consider it an open invitation to be tagged. Sgt Hook out.

Hehe! You’re NOT old enough for that!!

  4. Questions 1 - 6 would be the same answers
    7: Nothing
8: I agree about not messing with the past, but I wonder what our world would be if JFK didn’t get assassinated.
    9: Opera
    10: JFK’s assassination
11: I don’t know about being famous, but my choice would be Robert Kaplan … Whatever resturant he wanted to go to, I’ll pay the bill.
    12: I don’t know exactly what it would be, but it would probably involve being naked and chocolate. ;}

  5. 1. Color
    2. I liked your answer a lot, but I find it saddens me (I want to see somebody’s marriage succeed not fail, darn it!) and so not specifically boring. Boring, hmmm, stocks and bonds.
    3. CDs.
    4. Not even a moment’s temptation.
    5. and 6. same answers, unfortunately, as yours.
    7. Wouldn’t have spent two fruitless years trying to become the Engineering Major I thought my Dad wanted. Hurt my GPA smashing my head 3 times against the brickwall that is Calculus. I’m ‘challenged’ that way.;-)
    8. So many, but - Hitler was NEVER born.
    9. Opera. I went, once. Faust. It was…magical.
    10. Jack the Ripper. Old. Finding OBL. Current.
    11. Depends how famous. First choice: Micheal Yon, anything non-MRE related. If you mean, big time famous - Edgar Allan Poe. No alcohol or stimulants of any kind.
    12. Contact a psychic and get JL to retract his statement from beyond the grave. That oughta do it!

In view of a recent tendency to identify characters in fiction with real people, it seems proper to state that there are no real people in this volume: both the characters and their names are ficticious. The names or designations of any military units are ficticious. There are no living people nor existing military units presented in this book. -Ernest Hemingway

Fiddler's Green

Halfway down the road to hell,
In a shady meadow green,
Are the souls of all dead troopers camped
Near a good old-time canteen.
And this eternal resting place
Is known as Fiddler's Green.
